Who We Serve..
Gentia Behavioral Health Systems serves families in need. Let’s face it, many families today need help solving conflicts and problems that threaten to compromise their functioning and overall well being.
Our families have changed over the past decades. According to the U.S. Census Bureau 2010 census data, there has been an increase in blended and single family households. An interesting fact is that 7.1 million children in the United States live in a house where the grandparent is head of household. Eighty two percent of these children are under the age of 18. Families continue to suffer from instability, parent absenteeism and poverty. Often they are without the basic needs necessary to flourish.
Gentia BHS provides assistance to these families in need. We analyze and address the issues with the individual members to help identify ways to alleviate the pressures and anxieties of life.
